Nadia is an Australian Visual Artist and Printmaker now living in Kilkenny, Ireland.
Nadia’s work merges personal narratives with folk tales to create magical allegories, with recurring motifs of nature and scale reflecting growth, self-discovery and difference.
A visual storyteller, images are her language.
On process she describes the complex and labour intensive nature of printmaking, the long twisting pathways we’re taken down when in that zen place, enraptured in process mirroring a kind of therapeutic journey that one can go on without even realising it. A kind of cleansing. A happy place.
Her work explores these themes through linocut, woodblock and papercuts.
